Mr. Venkatesh Kamat Wildlife photography is not about wildlife alone. It is so much more. It is about light and rain, textures and colours, grasslands and mountains. He believe it is all of these elements that ultimately infuse soul and spirit into an image. For him a good photograph freezes a moment but tells the story of a journey. He come from a Human Resource background where he spent 2 decades in MNCs.

For as long as we can remember, he have been surrounded by seashores,lush landscapes, abundant in wildlife and steeped in culture. Photography opened his eyes to that which was always around but never truly seen. Respect for all life forms, big and small, appreciation for nature and a newfound meaning of coexistence started taking shape.

Started his journey as a wildlife photographer and that passion took him to build a wildlife tour company called Wild Photo Getaways where he himself have started conducting wildlife tours to explore Animal/Birds kingdom, the journey has been challenging, life-altering. He feel humbled to have my work awarded and published on prestigious platforms. Beauty is all around us!
